ISO 9000 is a series
of quality-system standards developed by the International
Organization for Standardization, based in Switzerland.
The SSC Controls
Company achieved certification of its quality system to the ISO 9001
standard in July 2000 and its upgrade to the "2000" version of the ISO 9001
standard
in May 2003.
SSC's entire quality system was audited and
certified to the standard, including design, production, and distribution.

Smithers Quality Assessments of Akron, Ohio.

Company's design, production, and distribution operations have been
certified to the ISO 9001:2000 With Design, International Quality System
Standard.
The company's entire quality system was
audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), a
leading independent accredited registrar.
The SSC Controls Company specializes in the
design and manufacture of foot switches, welding foot pedals, and
industrial foot controls.
Smithers is fully accredited both by the
Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA) and the registrar Accreditation
Board (RAB) and is a member of the Independent Association of Accredited
