POTENTIOMETER FOOT PEDALS

The L- and M-Series foot controls provide a variable resistance output that can be used in applications such as to vary the speed of motors with motor speed drives. They can be wired to either increase or decrease the speed of the motor. Potentiometers are commonly used in circuits as voltage dividers. There are two versions available: the L-Series, which has a spring-loaded momentary action (press to activate or adjust, release to return upright), and the M-Series, which has a maintained action (stays in place once you set it until further adjustment).

The L-Series are ideal for applications such as operating lift tables, pipe rollers, or electric golf cart motors. The M-Series are ideal for pottery wheel foot pedals, adjusting the output level of music equipment, and other applications. A switch can also be added to the circuitry (add "-S" to the end of the part number). The G700-Series (below) provide the heavy-duty construction and high enclosure rating of the G-Series.

G700 Heavy-Duty Potentiometer Foot Controls

The G700 are potentiometer foot controls with the heavy-duty construction of the G-Series. Available with or without a switch. The switch is set to activate at the beginning of the pedal cycle and has an adjustable activation point. These units have a NEMA Enclosure Type 2, 4, and 13 rating (IEC rating: IP56) and therefore are suitable for indoor/outdoor, hose-down, and other heavy-duty environments, when properly connected.
