The L- and M-Series foot controls
provide a variable resistance output that can be used in applications such
as to vary the speed of motors with motor speed drives. They can be wired to
either increase or decrease the speed of the motor. Potentiometers
are commonly used in circuits as voltage dividers. There
are two versions available: the L-Series, which has a spring-loaded momentary action
(press to activate or adjust, release to return upright), and the M-Series, which has a maintained action (stays in place
once you set it until further adjustment).
The
L-Series are ideal for applications such as operating lift tables,
pipe rollers, or electric golf cart motors. The M-Series
are
ideal for pottery wheel
foot pedals, adjusting the output level of music equipment, and other
applications.
A switch can also be added to the circuitry (add "-S" to the end of the
