RECEIVES CERTIFICATION UPGRADE TO ISO 9001:2008
Mentor, OH (April 21, 2009) - The SSC Controls
Company has achieved its certification upgrade to the ISO 9001:2008
Standard, With Design.
The company's entire quality system,
including design, production, and distribution operations, was
audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), a
leading independent accredited registrar (Smithers Quality Assessments) of Akron, Ohio.
The SSC Controls Company specializes in the
design and manufacture of electrical foot switches, control pedals, and
industrial foot controls.
Smithers is fully accredited both by the
Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA) and the registrar Accreditation
Board (RAB) and is a member of the Independent Association of Accredited
Registrars.
ISO 9001 is a well-known quality system standard developed by the International
Organization for Standardization, based in Switzerland.
